Devotion:
Today’s Scripture reminds us that the resurrection of Jesus Christ stands at the center of God’s plan of redemption.
The resurrection is not merely the conclusion of Christ’s earthly ministry, but the confirmation that His sacrifice for sin was accepted by the Father. Jesus willingly endured the cross, was buried, and on the third day rose bodily from the grave. In doing so, He conquered sin and death and secured eternal hope for all who place their faith in Him.
The Bible presents the resurrection as a historical reality witnessed by many. Because Christ is alive, our faith rests on a living Savior rather than on religious tradition or human effort. Christianity is founded upon a relationship with the risen Lord, who calls sinners to repentance and offers forgiveness through His grace.
The resurrection also reveals the heart of God. Though humanity is broken by sin, God does not abandon those He created. Instead, He pursues us through His Son, providing the only way to be reconciled to Himself. This is not earned by good works but received by faith in Jesus Christ.
As believers, we are called to live in light of the empty tomb. Our confidence is not rooted in changing circumstances but in the unchanging truth that Christ reigns. His victory assures us that sin has been defeated, death has lost its final sting, and His promises remain certain. Every day is an opportunity to walk in gratitude, obedience, and hope because our Savior lives.

Father, thank You for sending Your Son to die for our sins and for raising Him from the dead. Help me to live each day in the confidence of Christ’s finished work and to walk faithfully in obedience to You. Amen.
