Background
I have been doing daily devotions since my renewed faith experience in 2020 - using two different sources: one from the YouVersion Bible App , and another from my local church (First Baptist Maryville). I also have shared these devotions through an email blast to a number of friends.
Following my pastor’s retirement in February 2026, and noticing that many YouVersion devotions were repeating, I began looking for a new devotional source.
That’s when I discovered that Pastor Gary Hamrick (of Cornerstone Chapel) had just started a devotional series - on the same month of this transition - can you say providence? This is the same ministry that was instrumental in my renewed faith experience. I am so grateful for Pastor Gary. Through his teaching (inspired by the Holy Spirit), I see insights that I might never have considered on my own.
These devotions are published through the Sermons Online website. However, I found this platform to be somewhat clunky and distracting.
As a result, I decided to catalog these devotions here, with the following benefits:
A distraction-free experience — focused entirely on the devotional content.
These devotions have been permanently archived, and are available in a very concise format, allowing you to easily return to them at anytime.
Linked Scripture References — each passage connects directly to the YouVersion Bible App, making it easy to dig deeper - electronically.
Progress Tracking — like many resources on this site, completion checkboxes help you stay on track.
Digging Deeper — Each devotion includes a short "Digging Deeper" section with additional Scripture references to help you further explore the topic in more depth.
Full Disclosure: These references are generated (in part) with the help of AI. If that raises a red flag for you - I fully understand!
In that regard, I am careful to never use AI for something that is opinionated, to avoid the risk of introducing any bias. Because this section simply references related Scripture (rather than offering interpretation or opinion), I believe that risk is minimal.
The only potential issue would be highlighting a scripture passage "out of context", which may not relate to the topic. That said, I do review the references before publishing. As with any study aid, I encourage you to read each passage in its proper context.
Most importantly, the devotional content itself remains unchanged and reflects Pastor Gary’s original teaching.
Locate Devotions by Scripture Reference — while this page promotes devotions by

Please Note: New devotions are published each morning, typically between 6–9am (times may vary). With that said, it is not necessary to follow the current day—feel free to start at the beginning of the archive and use the completion checkboxes to track your progress.
My prayer is that this resource is a blessing to you and helps you grow in your daily walk with the Lord.
May the Lord bless you,
