Devotion:

The world around us is constantly shifting its standards, redefining truth according to human desire rather than God’s Word. Scripture reminds us that when people reject the knowledge of God, confusion and deception follow. Yet even in the midst of moral chaos, the Lord calls His people to remain faithful, steady, and compassionate.

Jesus never compromised truth, but neither did He withhold grace from broken people. Throughout the Gospels, He welcomed sinners, spoke truth plainly, and offered forgiveness and transformation to all who would come to Him. As believers, we are called to walk in that same spirit. We must not affirm what God calls sin, but we also must not lose sight of the mission to point people to Christ.

The church is not a gathering place for people who have everything together. It is a place where sinners encounter the mercy of God and the truth of His Word. Every person, no matter how confused or wounded, bears the image of God and needs the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Truth without love becomes harsh, but love without truth leaves people trapped in darkness. Biblical love holds firmly to both.

In times of cultural pressure, believers must guard their own hearts carefully. We cannot faithfully speak truth to the world while neglecting holiness in our own lives. God calls us to renew our minds through Scripture, to lead our families with wisdom, and to stand courageously without fear or compromise. Our confidence does not rest in cultural approval but in the unchanging authority of God’s Word.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to stand firmly in Your truth while showing the compassion and grace of Christ to others. Guard my heart from compromise and strengthen me to live faithfull
